15 15 NUMBER OF SPECIAL GROUP PEOPLE In Finland people who benefit of applied physical education roughly 20-25% of population Of school age children 10-20% would benefit from applied physical education In each class 1-2 special need children exist

16 16 Think about handicap situations! What kind of thoughts does for instance losing locomotor ability in a car crash create? Possibility of having a disabled child? What is the hardest thing to lose: sight, hearing or locomotor ability (partly, for instance having to use wheelchair)? Is it different to be born handicapped or to become handicapped later in life?
