Re-issue project The theme Re-issuing is a theme which shows itself every now and then, any time that it grows the need of rooting contemporary experience to some models of the past. Just to give a couple of examples from the past, let's think how much diffused, during the roman period, the custom of re-issuing the greek sculptures was; or think to the artistic phenomenon of neo-classicism, that was a way of re-interpreting the models of classic tradition.
Re-issue project The theme Even nowadays the need of rooting our own experiences to some foregoing issue is still strong; just think to the automobile market, where BMW re-issues the mini cooper, Fiat the 500 model, Wolkswagen re- edits the good old beetle. Sometimes it is a matter of restyling and giving contemporary appeal and technology to a model from the past; sometimes it is just a matter of bringing for the first time into mass production a project that once upon a time it was not.
