3 Data Gathering Discussion and results Outages with the same element ID that occur within 1-5 minutes of each other need separate event IDs Joint owners – need to report only the lines you are responsible for according to form 2.1 200kv -299kv Transformers – use the comment column to indicate if the Transformer is a phase shifter or the high side of the transformer Common Mode – had TOs reporting Independent mode outages when in fact should have been a common mode outage

4 WECC Data Handling WECC creates forms 3.1, 3.2, 3.4, 4.1 4.2 4.3 and 5.0 Submit data for CY 2009 Upload the data onto the NERC database WECC takes the additional data and creates the TRD report which will give us an insight on any patterns that will arise 4 th annual TRD report for CY 2009

5 Responsibilities for Each User RE – the independent Regional Entity reviewer of the submitted data DRE – the delegated TO helper to enter the data into webTADS TO – Users which logs onto webTADS Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of data DRE cannot assume each TOs responsibility for TADS accuracy and completeness
