12. Handling Equipment Never handle broken glass with your bare hands. Tell your teacher. Make sure your hands are dry before touching a plug.

13. Animals Always treat living things with respect. Make sure you wash your hands after handling an animal. Remember; all animals can bite, particularly if mistreated.

14. ACCIDENTS Report any accident (spill, breakage, etc.) or injury (cut, burn, etc.) to the teacher immediately, no matter how small it seems. Do not panic.

15. Waste Disposal Never pour anything down the drain unless you are told to do so. Hazardous chemicals down the drain can lead to pollution of ground water, lakes, and rivers.
