2 What is it... ●Stitching for Change is a partial non profit organization that sells reusable burlap grocery bags ●Stitching for change benefits the environment as it eliminates waste from discarded plastic bag ●Stitching for change also donates 15% of all profits to impoverished countries

3 Why is it needed... ●⅔ of all people worldwide lack access to clean water ●over 20,000 children die each y due to poverty related causes ●10% of all plastic bags end up in the ocean ●Worldwide we use over a trillion plastic bags per year, and a plastic bag can take up to 1,000 YEARS to break down

4 Type of business A corporation best fits this business's needs as it has a large range of production and charity related responsibilities Stitching for change will need to communicate worldwide with impoverished countries I am hopeful that this company will continue after the current teams passes on

5 Financing ●I make the bags for 1.50 per unit ansell that at 8.99 each ●After taking out the 15% donation and production cost we make about 6.30$ on every bag ●I am asking you for 50,000$ for 20% equity in the company ●The past two years we have generated over 283,000 in profit and donated over 48,000 ●Our sals goals project over 500,000 in revenue next year

6 How it’s sold... ●We target women ages 35-60, however men of the same age range won't be deterred from this product ●We market Stitching for Change visually on billboards, TV ads, and signs ●Our marketing strategy is to make people aware of the upsetting conditions in other countries and the environmental issues in the US
