3 Running Title Training School from 2000 with a history of collaboration through GTP, as a Humanities College, as a Beacon School HT was an NLE involved in London Challenge and so a history of school to school support Pilot National Teaching School which was an OLEVI Centre delivering OTP/ ITP / TLIP School to school support ASTs The Background Lampton

4 Running Title Membership c. 15 schools Defining factor: known and trusted Local HTs – mostly from the LA or ex LA Some HTs with shared background in London Challenge Predominantly secondary – little primary Mostly outstanding / good Stage 1.. The first 12 – 18 months The Foundations Making a positive difference in the lives of our students through Improving teaching and learning and student achievement Support for schools in a vacuum Developing school leaders The big picture: moral purpose

6 Running Title Use of the Teaching School programmes to bring different phases and schools together Challenge Partner – central meetings for HTs Local hub HT meetings SLEs appointed early to assist in knowledge transfer Subject meetings Structure needed.. To bring this into reality Knowledge management/ growing Social capital Working groups (Big 6) Leadership development programmes (with external partners) Planning and creation of School Direct across 8 secondary schools Co-creating new knowledge for current challenges

Funding School to school support – an alliance responsibility Growth of the hub …shared ownership
