1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Doxology Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.— Amen.

The Book of Proverbs Chapter 7 The Adulteress’ Seductive Tactics!

A Sad Example: How the naïve fall into sin emphasizing the behavior that leads to adultery, vs. 6-23.

1. The role of the man in this relationship, vs. 6-9. 2. The role of the woman, vs. 10-21.

Vs. 18, When you are filled completely with Satan’s cosmic system it leaves no room to be occupied with your right man, Occupied with Christ.

Ezek 23:17, “Then the Babylonians came to her, into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their immorality.”

“Love” – DOD, ‏דּוֹד An Uncle Redeemer. Lev 25:49; 1 Sam 10:14-16; Jer 32:6-9. Our right “love” relationship with the Lord - our kinsman redeemer.

Hosea 4:12, “My people consult their wooden idol, and their diviner’s wand informs them; for a spirit of harlotry has led them astray, and they have played the harlot, departing from their God.”

Vs. 19, “For” – KI In Vs. 6 it introduced God as the all seeing and knowing Father. In vs. 19, the returning master of the house; God the Son.

“Not” - AYIN, אַיִן This word is also used for the donkeys of 1 Sam 9 and 10.

1 Sam 9:4, “He passed through the hill country of Ephraim and passed through the land of Shalishah, but they did not find them.”

1 Sam 10:14-16, the redeeming uncle helps find the donkeys = the Messiah will be presented and eventually found by Israel, especially upon His 2 nd Advent, having been rejected or lost in His 1 st Advent.

“Husband” is ISH In the prophets, the Lord is referred to as the “husband” of Israel.

Jer 31:32, “I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD.”

Isa 54:5, “For your husband is your Maker, whose name is the LORD of hosts; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.”

Hosea 2:16, “It will come about in that day,” declares the LORD, “That you will call Me Ishi, (my Husband).”

“Gone on a Long Journey.” Cf. Gen 37:18

Gen 37:18, “And when they saw (Joseph) afar off, even before he came near to them, they conspired against him to slay him.”

When Christ the Messiah presented Himself to His brothers, riding on the covenant donkey, they began to conspire to kill Him too, Mat 26:3-4; Mark 11:18; Luke 19:47.

Mat 26:3-4, “Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered together in the court of the high priest, named Caiaphas; 4 and they plotted together to seize Jesus by stealth and kill Him.”

Ultimately, “a long journey” speaks of our Lord’s Ascension, being seated at the right hand of the Father, and Satan trying to convince the world He will not return.

Vs. 20, “Bag” - TSEROR, צְרוֹר “A bundle, parcel, pouch, or bag.” Metaphorically it describes a container for Job’s sins, Job 14:17.

Therefore, to purchase mankind from the slave market of sin, Jesus took upon Himself all of our offenses or sins.

“Money” - KESEPH, כֶּסֶף, “Silver or money.” Silver represents redemption used extensively throughout the Tabernacle, Ex 26 and 27.

Ex 30:16 = “Atonement money.” Num 3:49 = “Redemption money.”

Offerings to cover sins, typifying the payment Jesus would make upon the Cross for our sins.

2 Kings 12:16, “The money from the guilt offerings and the money from the sin offerings was not brought into the house of the LORD; it was for the priests.”

Silver was used to purchase our Lord’s betrayal, (30 pieces of slivers). Mat 26:15; 27:3-10, cf. Zech 11:12-13; Jer 32:6-9 (uncle redeemer)

1 Peter 1:18-19, “Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.”

“With him” = BE YADAH, “In his hand.” Cf. John 20:20, 25

“At the full moon.” God created the moon to “rule the night”, Gen 1:16ff.

The “full moon” indicates, the “Great Day of the Lord.” Mark 13:24; Isa 13:10; Joel 2:30-32.

Psa 81:3, “Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.”

For the Church the trumpet blowing signifies the Rapture of the Church at the beginning of the Tribulation. 1 Cor 15:52; 1Thes 4:16

“He will come.” Cf. Zech 9:9-10. Vs. 9, the King comes to you mounted on a donkey. Vs 10, The Millennial Reign, cf. Dan. 7:13-14.

“He will enter His house.” Prophetic for the Second Advent of our Lord to establish His Millennial reign.
