3 Personal Finance What does God expect from us regarding our finances? As a Single Person or Parent  I Thessalonians 4:11-12 Avoid financial dependency on someone you’re not married to.  I Corinthians 7:32-35 Keep busy with the Lord’s work Prepare yourself for marriage

4 Work How much is too much? Balancing Work with Family Time  I Timothy 6:6-10 Do no allow greed to motivate overtime work.  Proverbs 23:4-5

5 The Issue of Debt Is All Debt Bad? Is it possible to avoid debt completely? Exodus 22:14  We are responsible to uphold any loan agreements we make. Proverbs 28:19  This applies to general finance, but can also to apply to loans, cash advance, rent to own, etc.  We should have a good reason for committing to a loan, not frivolous expenses like vacations, luxury items, or other items that could be saved up for.
