Progress as of June, 2012 3  Consolidated into a single integrated organization comprised of 175 staff and academic personnel  5 HR Service Centers Live comprised of “teams” that focus on service delivery to departments; and that provide consultative and transactional services for matters relating to staff HR and academic personnel  Academic Affairs and HR Specialty Centers that focus on campus- wide constituents to ensure compliance with AP and HR policy; and also provide best practice advice, develop and deliver programs  Introduced enabling technology to support shared services, including the HR Service Request System to initiate service requests and track status/performance and the MPM that performs complex calculations for health science faculty and streamlines funding changes  Reduced overall cost of delivering academic and HR services  Initiated standardization of all staff and academic practices
