What is an embolus? A thrombus that breaks away and floats freely in the bloodstream that can later clog vessels in critical areas such as the brain.
What is RhoGAM? The immune serum used to prevent maternal sensitization to Rh antigens.
Describe WBCs (leukocytes): they use diapedesis to move in and out of blood vessels they locate areas of tissue damage through chemotaxis they move by ameboid motion they account for less than 1 percent of total blood volume
