Customize a Program Analyze your lifestyle. Set realistic goals. Be accountable for your actions: do the program with a friend, or report back to someone.
Customize a Program Make time for exercise activities that you enjoy. Make healthful diet changes that work with your eating habits. Stick with your changes!
Sample Diet Program Eating habits: I like to snack all day. Carry healthful snacks with you. Eat four to five small meals a day. Avoid “quick fix” junk food by not letting yourself get too hungry.
Sample Exercise Program I like: team sports Join a community softball or football team. Try a new sport you have not tried before. Vary your activities so you stay motivated!
Goals Increase your strength and endurance. Lose five pounds. Increase your energy.
