1  PAS…. Learning Targets: Administrators will be able to: Understand and Articulate the First Observation Cycle Review and Approve Student Achievement Goals Use AHEP to complete PAS requirements Use AHEP to complete Principal PAS requirements.

2 What should I be doing now? (And what about that Oct. 15 th deadline? P.S. It’s now Oct. 31 st !) 1. Building Head Principal: Assign all your probationary and High Cycle teachers. 2. Meet with these teachers to review the process, the rubrics, and your expectations. 3. Self-Assessment Checklist… 4. Set up a Pre Conference, Observation, and Post Conference with those teachers on your caseload.

5 Frequently Asked Questions about the Student Achievement Goal… Individual or CT/PLC? Who helps the teacher write the goal? (Goal Assistant on website) What is a “tiered goal?” How do I determine if a focus is “critical?” What about scoring? When do we do it? Where do we do it? Is there a bank of model student achievement goals? What about inter-rater reliability? (Consistency between buildings, evaluators?)
