Slide 2 In the previous modules, you set personal goals for continuing your work with formative assessment. Now we will focus on the TLC group goals and structures to support successful implementation.

Determine how you will continue your work with formative assessment using whatever collegial group is appropriate for you.

Use Handout 7.5.1 to see how formative assessment aligns with other initiatives and mandates at your site. The matrix is a tool to determine the current level of implementation and what is feasible for next steps.

Compare your goals with others to determine next steps. Collaboration is an important support to effectively implementing formative assessment. Before developing a plan, review the benefits of working with a TLC.
