Apple

Apple is committed to bringing the best personal computing experience to students, educators, creative professionals and consumers around the world through its innovative hardware, software and Internet offerings.

Corporate History Apple was founded in April 1976 by two high school dropouts’ names Steve Wozniak and Steve Job. To start the company they had to sell their most valuable possessions raising $1,300. They invented the Apple I computer and built them in Steve Jobs garage. They hired mostly high school computer enthusiasts to build and the circuit boards ad design the software. Steve Jobs wanted to create a larger company so he got Mike Markkula a retired electronic engineer and manager, who bought one-third of the company for $250,000. He also helped create the business plan. As well, Mike Scott was hired in 1977 as president. Regis McKenna was hired and he designed the Apple logo and began with advertising.

Company Products iPods Features-
There are many features to the iPod, but the best thing is you can pick out the color you want it to be within the selection! They come in multiple styles and sizes to fit anyone’s needs. Uses- The uses of the iPod are endless. You can listen to music, store data, store pictures, take pictures, play games, upload apps, keep contacts lists, have a calendar, personalize it and change the settings. They are so much more cool and exciting things you can do with it.

Quality Level- The iPods are just amazing. The quality of them is just great. They can out stand many things and they can do so many things, Ratings- Pros: very thin excellent sound quality, color screen Cons: no photo pan or zoom, no radio or voice recording Bottom Line: Sure, it doesn't have an FM tuner or voice recording, but it does have an unsurpassed interface, excellent sound quality, and an undeniable cool factor.

iPhones Features- Both iPhones have a large touch sensitive area but the only difference between the iPhones are the iPhone 4 is rectangular and has square edges and the iPhone 3 is rounded and has curved edges. Uses- The uses of the iPhone are just like the iPod but you can call and text message people. You can listen to music, store data, store pictures, take pictures, play games, upload apps, keep contacts lists, have a calendar, personalize it and change the settings. They are so much more cool and exciting things you can do with it.

Quality Level- They have great quality. They are almost near perfection. They have great sound quality and when you call someone they have a clear voice. Ratings- Pros: The Apple iPhone has a stunning display, a sleek design, and an innovative multi touch user interface. Its Safari browser makes for a superb Web surfing experience, and it offers easy-to-use apps. As an iPod, it shines. Cons: The Apple iPhone has variable call quality and lacks some basic features found in many cell phones, including stereo Bluetooth support and 3G compatibility. Integrated memory is stingy for an iPod, and you have to sync the iPhone to manage music content. Bottom line: Despite some important missing features, a slow data network, and call quality that doesn't always deliver, the Apple iPhone sets a new benchmark for an integrated cell phone and MP3 player

iPad Features- The iPad is a mixture of the iPod and a computer. It is a large tablet with an all touch face to it. It is very thin and light. Uses- It is very similar to a computer. It can access the Internet, use Microsoft programs and it has the same features on an iPod. You can listen to music, store data, store pictures, take pictures, play games, upload apps, keep contacts lists, have a calendar, personalize it and change the settings. They are so much more cool and exciting things you can do with it.

Quality Level- It has great quality. Ratings- Pros: In an act of aggressive tech convergence, Apple has consolidated your Net book, e-reader, gaming device, photo frame, and iPod into an elegant, affordable super gadget. Features such as Bluetooth, n Wi-Fi, movie rentals, 10 hours of battery life, optional 3G wirelesses, and the most-celebrated App Store on the planet have us pretty worked up. Cons: The iPad's large size is as much a hindrance as it is an advantage. As a jack-of-all-trades and a master of few, the iPad can't entirely mimic many of the specialized products it seeks to replace. The iPad's lack of front or rear cameras, Flash support, and integrated HD video output already have us pining for next year's model. Bottom Line: The Apple iPad is the first affordable tablet computer worth owning, but it won't (yet) replace your laptop.

Apple MacBook Pro Features- It is a relatively thin and great sized computer. It has a full keyboard, and a large screen, which is great. It has a track pad and it is easy to use and hassle free. It also has a built in speaker system and webcam. Uses- The uses of this laptop are just like another computer. You can go on Microsoft programs, use the Internet, listen to movies, and take pictures, watch movies, and so many more. This is a very high tech and fast computer.

Quality Level- As well, just like all he Apple products it has appreciable quality. I think it is the best laptop around. Ratings- Pros: CPU updates offer big leaps in performance; phenomenal battery life; excellent ergonomics, keyboard, and large, smooth, multi touch click pad are still among the best available; 720p HD Webcam. Cons: Graphics performance is slightly worse than last year's 13-inch Pro; 13-inch screen resolution still low compared with the MacBook Air; Thunderbolt port still an unknown until accessories become available; limited upgrade options; expensive; no HDMI or Blu-ray. Bottom line: Despite retaining the same price and look as last year's model, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro's significant CPU updates and fantastic battery life make it one of the top laptops we've reviewed, provided you can live with passable integrated graphics.

Competitor The main competitor of Apple is Samsung. Both of these business corporations are very large and world wide. They have great products that are alike. Some products have the same apps, features, design style and etc. Samsung is a company very similar to apple. They both sell computers and phones.

Apple iPad vs. Galaxy Tab:
The iPad is a breakthrough tablet, which Apple still struggles to keep in stock, dodged mistakes made by previous tablets by making computing with your fingers easy, relatively inexpensive, and above all, fun. The Galaxy Tab is a larger size of Samsung’s Galaxy S Smartphone’s.
