Cause George will plan the Gong Show, the talents will be bad, we’ll go racing on three legs, the winners will be glad. After filing up on free food, with meat on toasted buns, we’ll head inside to the gym you better bring your guns. The Seniors want a winning streak and bragging rights of tug of war, this competition ends our picnic, but the day holds so much more. There’s food and fun and fellowship, and paint for on your face, there’s games and laughs, and spirit at Oakland Catholic, this rockin’ place! So dress in your class colors, be they red, blue, purple, or green, come prepared for lots of fun, School of rOCk will be our theme."

8. The bookstore is open from 7:15 to 7:45 in the mornings before homeroom and during lunch. Any student interested in working the bookstore during her lunch period or in the morning should see Ms. Hudock in room 210.

9. Any student who preordered a computer case, they are available in the ARC between classes and during lunch. You must have your $12. See Mrs. Haslett with questions.

10. MARIA GORETTI ATTENTION ALL INTERESTED IN MARIA GORETTI AFTER CARE PROGRAM Come learn about how you can make a difference in a child’s life right here in your own city!! The kick off meeting is September 3rd Thursday at 2:45 till 3:30 in the Di Nardo lecture hall.

11. Stage Crew for the Masque fall show will have their first meeting at Central on Thursday September 3rd at 3 o’clock. New members are always welcome! Any questions, see senior Kathryn Hornyak or junior Caroline Albacete

12. Attention writers, photographers, cartoonists, and editors. The OC Eagle Eye will be holding two meetings for interested students: - The first meeting will take place during the first CCW session on Wednesday, Sept. 9, in room 205. - If you cannot attend the first meeting, a second meeting will be held after school on Thursday, Sept. 10, in room 205. New members are always welcome. Please see Mr. Finnegan if you have questions.

13. Anyone interested in playing Softball this year there will be practice next Wednesday September 9th at Paul Schuillo Field after school. If interested in playing please see Julia Vrable or Janet Tracey. The Softball Coach Chris Marak will be at all lunches Tuesday Sept. 8th to answer any questions about Oakland Catholic Softball.
