b A line plot shows the spread of all the data on a number line. b Easily identifies the mode. b All line plots include: - a title - a title - a horizontal line - a horizontal line - data displayed by use of Xs - data displayed by use of Xs

b If numbers are used: Order the values from least to greatest. (Note: some numbers may repeat). b If words are used: place data into categories. b Draw a number line and label with the values/categories above (only use repeated numbers/category once). b Plot the values of each item on a number line by placing an X above the value which it corresponds. b Continue to plot the values until all data is used.
