Such a PLR is defined as PLR-u PLR-u should switch traffic to another backup LSP –MP of backup should be the same as MP of bypass or further downstream on the protected LSP –If backup follows route of bypass and MP of backup is the first downstream LSR on the bypass that intersects protected LSP after diverging from it, then traffic follows same path as if protected by bypass with the added benefit that the effect of the problematic U-turn is mitigated
