2. un-ZIP PGP Double-click on PGP5i.exe. Unless told otherwise by your instructor, un-ZIP it to the default directory.

3. Installing PGP Open the C:\PGP directory and double-click on setup.exe Follow the below steps, using the settings described.

4. Making a key To use PGP you need to create a PGP key. When prompted to do so, creat a PGP key under a false(or real, it doesnt matter) name and e-mail address. Be sure to write down your key paraphrase as you will need it later. Do NOT send it to a keyserver.

5. Encrypting a file Right-click on the file to encrypt and select encrypt from the PGP menu Drag the key that you made to the lower window Click OK

6. De-Crypting a file Double-click on the file to De-Crypt. Type in your paraphrase when prompted.
