2 God is at work. He is still working even in the darkest times. But we can only realize that if we obey and trust him. God is at work to fulfill his will and also for our benefit.

5 God makes things happen: 1 God made Ruth and Boaz meet each other Was it just by chance? Of course not! God was at work!

6 2 God brought the kinsman-redeemer along. 4:1 Meanwhile Boaz went up to the town gate and sat there. When the kinsman- redeemer he had mentioned came along, Boaz said, 'Come over here, my friend, and sit down.' So he went over and sat down. Was it just by chance? Of course not! God was at work!

7 3 God was working in Boazs heart to settle the matter 3:18 Then Naomi said, 'Wait, my daughter, until you find out what happens. For the man will not rest until the matter is settled today.'

9 4. God make the redemption legal Everyone was there at the right time, to make sure it was all legal and blessed. Was it just by chance? Of course not! God was at work!

10 5. God enabled Ruth to have a son. 4:13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. Then he went to her, and the Lord enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son.

11 6.God was at work for his own plan 4:22 Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of David. Ruth's baby became the grandfather of King David. He was an ancestor of Jesus!

14 Application to our lives 1 We must trust God despite our difficulties.

18 2) How to trust God in our troubles Focus on his promises by reading his words Count the blessings in our own daily life Hear from others in the fellowship

19 God is at work. Even in the darkest times, God is at work. His work is to fulfill his plan. His work is for our benefit. May our eyes and ears can be opened by Him
