Chapter facts Total members: Approx. 250 as of last fall (dropped somewhat this spring) Members by state Alaska – 8 California – 4 Idaho – 3 Oregon – 36 (17 in Portland metro area) Washington – 184 (135 or so in Seattle area)

Chapter bylaws Chapter has been operating outside its existing bylaws for some time New bylaws by and large follow model ASIS&T Chapter bylaws Changes to model bylaws: Establishes Secretary/Treasurer as an official Chapter position Refers to Chapter policies and procedures
Chapter policies/procedures Establish guidelines for regular Chapter activities such as planning the annual meeting Deadlines as to when a meeting site must be established, program distributed to membership, etc. Rules re: expending Chapter funds for the annual meeting
