13 A Global Prayer Habitat for Humanity is a development organization and also a Christian ministry. Stakeholders around the world provided input into Habitat’s 2014-18 strategic plan. They were also enlisted in listening to God for guidance. The Habitat world responded, and a simple global prayer emerged. God, teach us humility so that we may…  …listen,  …confess and forgive,  …serve in relationship with the poor,  …persevere in our mission,  …unify as one body with many diverse parts,  …and act with courage and boldness. Reflects input gathered 11/1/2011-5/10/2012

Why would my affiliate want to align with the Plan? 25

26 Why is alignment important? By aligning with one global strategic plan, we strengthen our ability to deepen our collective impact to exponentially serve more families while recognizing the diverse contexts in which we work.

Through alignment, we become a unified global family with local relevance 27 Why is alignment important? The 2014-2018 Strategic Plan* serves as a common framework to guide our Habitat family worldwide * Also referred to as the “global strategic plan.”

28 12 3 HFHI Global Strategic Initiatives HFHI Division/ Area Implementation Plans HFHI has established catalytic strategic initiatives (Growth, HSS, Impact) to help define the global strategic plan and support you to achieve the 2014-2018 Strategic Plan goals and objectives.
