5. Web-spinners are found in many environments throughout Australia and Mexico despite the fact they are not well known. They construct their silky nests in sheltered locations such as under rocks or bark, in soil or plant litter and in old wood.

7. The most common Australian specie of the Webspinner is the Aposthonia gurneyi. 100 of the 300 species of the Webspinners are in Australia. The colours of the Aposthonia gurneyi are brown and black.

The boy webspinners only live for a short amount of time. The time they are living they fly in search of girl webspinners After finding a girl webspinner the girl would lay her eggs in an established area to begin a new family. The girl webspinner protects her eggs til hatching day and on hatching day they immediately start to spin a silky area for there new family.
