An introduction to Value Stream Mapping Whenever there is a product for a customer, there is a Value Stream, the challenge lies in seeing it. A powerful tool used to identify value-added steps in your processes from the customers point of view. The most important tool that lean thinkers will need to make sustainable progress in the war against waste.
Value Stream Mapping is a qualitative tool by which you describe in detail how your facility should operate in order to create (valuable) flow.
