1 NPRRs NPRR680 Allow QSEs to Self-Arrange AS Quantities Greater Than Their AS Obligation. This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) proposes to allow a Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) to submit Self-Arranged Ancillary Service Quantities in excess of its Ancillary Service Obligations by up to 100 MW and to receive appropriate compensation for those self-arranged quantities. NPRR684 Remove Annual RUC Impact Report Requirement. This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) removes the requirement for ERCOT to report to the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) every January on the market impacts of Reliability Unit Commitment (RUC). NPRR692 Removal of MIS Posting Requirement of DAM Credit Parameters. This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) removes the posting requirement for Day-Ahead Market (DAM) Credit Parameters to the Market Information System (MIS) Public Area.

2 NPRRs NPRR693 Incorporation of “Threshold Values for Competitive Constraint Test” into the Protocols. This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) supersedes Other Binding Document (OBD) “Threshold Values for Competitive Constraint Test” and, upon implementation of this NPRR, the OBD shall be removed from the Other Binding Documents List. NPRR694 Non-Spin Schedule Requirements. This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) defines the Real- Time Inter-Control Center Communications Protocol (ICCP) scheduling requirements for Off-Line Non-Spin, On-Line Non-Spin, and On-Line Non-Spin using Off-Line power augmentation technology. NPRR695 Posting and Notice Requirements for Notifications of Suspension of Operations and Notifications of Change of Generation Resource Designation. This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) requires ERCOT to post all Notifications of Suspension of Operations (except those for units on Forced Outage) and all Notifications of Change of Generation Resource Designation to the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area and to issue a Market Notice within five Business Days of receipt.

3 NPRR NPRR698 Clarifications to NPRR595, RRS Load Resource Treatment In ORDC. This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) clarifies ERCOT’s intended implementation of NPRR595, RRS Load Resource Treatment In ORDC, and allows the use of currently telemetered values to provide the intent of NPRR595 at a lower project cost. NPRR699 Energy Offer Curve Caps for Make-Whole Calculations for Resource Type Other. This NPRR tries to rectify this oversight by setting the Energy Offer Curve Caps for make-whole calculations for “Other” Resources to the System-Wide Offer Cap (SWCAP), which is consistent with what was approved for Energy Storage Resources as not having a cap. Furthermore, ERCOT shall report annually to TAC or an assigned TAC Subcommittee the percentage of DAM and RUC Make-Whole Payments calculated for Resources classified as “Other”. NPRR700 Utilizing Actual Fuel Costs in Startup Offer Caps. This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) tries to rectify this problem by incorporating the actual fuel costs into the DAM and RUC procurement process and DAM Make- Whole Payment calculation. However, for RUC Make-Whole Payment calculations the Startup Costs should still be reduced by the heat rate proxy “H” to ensure a balanced equation. If approved, this NPRR should be implemented with NPRR 617, Energy Offer Flexibility.
