4 Jožef Stefan Institute - Profile Jožef Stefan Institute is the leading Slovenian national research organization in the area of natural sciences and technology The Institute was founded in 1949. The staff of around 700 people is specialized in research of: – information and communication sciences & electronics, – physics, – chemistry, biochemistry & nanotechnology – nuclear technology.
