Why EPHE Network Exists There are health educators through out the nation with an interest in emergency preparedness and response To support health educators in preparing for and responding to public health emergency events Provide a two-way communication system to allow collaboration between health educators and subject matter experts on emergency preparedness and response topics

10. Emergency Public Health Education (EPHE) Network Receive public health emergency alerts that are sent out by CDC’s Emergency Communication System (ECS)  GovD Participate on quarterly calls (CHES credits), as well as conference calls in the event of a public health emergency Receive notification of relevant resources, training events and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in emergency response May be called upon to share knowledge, skills, and experience with other public health professionals
