3. E-Safety E-Safety is keeping yourself safe when on the Internet. Not chatting or emailing people you haven’t met in real life Not making friends with people online that you haven’t actually met Not giving your personal information to people online.

4. Class discussion What do you do in everyday life that is linked to e-safety? For example: ◦ General surfing on the Internet ◦ Email ◦ Instant messaging ◦ Chat ◦ Mobile Phones (texts and access to internet)

5. E-Safety activity Use page 5 of your booklet to plan a draft postcard informing a friend about what E-Safety is On the back of the postcard write what you do in a typical week which is linked to E-Safety Using the A5 card design the postcard which will be used to put on display
