2 MEET HEAT SEEKER -Autonomous and intelligent fire fighter robot -Function: search, detect, aim and shoot water at hot objects. -Microcontroller: Arduino Mega ADK -Platform: Circular with 2 levels -Mobility: 2 driver wheels and 2 caster wheels

3 STRUCTURE AND PLATFORM – BOTTOM LEVEL Object Avoidance –3 Sonar and 6 Bump Sensors -Water tank located at the center to equilibrate the center of mass. Water shooting mechanism – Water Pump, tube and water tank

4 STRUCTURE AND PLATFORM – TOP LEVEL -Hole at the center of the platform for water tank and tube connection with the water pump -Status LCD -Detection and Aim of hot objects: Thermal Sensor and 3 Degree of freedom arm positioning.

5 CONTROL INTERFACE Arduino Mega ADK Sonar sensor,bump sensor,cross line laser module, robot arm servos andLCD Motor Driver Water Pump and Motor Wheels Level Converter Thermal Sensor MLX90620 -Motor Driver will be used to interface Arduino between the water pump and motor wheels. -Thermal Sensor MLX90620 requires a level converter from 5V to 3V -All the other Sensors,LCD and the line laser module will be wired directly to Arduino pins

6 VOLTAGE FLOW CHART 11.1 V Battery Voltage Regulator( 3V) Thermal Sensor MLX90620 Voltage Regulator( 5V) Sensor,cross line laser module and robot arm servos Arduino Water pump and motor wheel
