Directions: 1) Read the story “The Monkey and the Crocodile” 2) In comic strip form, retell the events of the story using the Vocabulary Words. Use a thinking cloud or dialogue cloud to show if the character is thinking or speaking. Use the narrator box when telling events. 3) Label the boxes as Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, or Resolution on the line provided at the top of each box 4) Color your comic and be ready to share with the class Use the Vocabulary (HR 51)in your comic: Relish, sulked, conscience, clambered Dialogue cloud Thinking cloud Narrator’s Box (no one is talking or thinking, but the narrator is just telling the events
