8 Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, adopted by the UN in 1979 incorporate the principle of equality of men and women in the Constitution and other laws and ensure its practical implementation; if necessary, use special sanctions that prohibit discrimination against women; take action to change existing laws, customs and practices that discriminate against women are represented; ensure the equal right of men and women to the enjoyment of all economic, social, cultural, civil and political rights.
