How I would change the world for the good of all… By Jessica + Natalie

Why the world needs to change The world needs to change because not everyone is living an equal life, especially children who can’t go to school and get a good education. Moreover, people suffer from violence on streets by gangs. In addition, smoke from factories and people smoking is causing nature to die away and making many people ill. This needs to change!

World education Children in poor countries have no education because they have no schools and they can’t get a job, making their lives unfair to live. A scripture reading linked to this is, 1 John 4:19- 21 which says, “Those who love God must love their brothers and sisters”. This means, whoever loves God should love everyone in the world no matter who they are. This isn’t how people should be treated just because they’re different.

Bullying Bullying hurts children's feelings; it mostly happens in schools and even outside of schools. But, sometimes bullying goes too far and it might not end well. However, this can be stopped by telling an adult or telling a teacher. Bullying, can cause friends to fall out or get aggressive. We can change this by, sending the message around the world so people can understand there pain. ‘Micah 6:6-8’ “Act justly, love kindness, walk humbly with God.” This is telling us to love everyone instead of bullying others.

Food waste There is a huge problem in parts of cities and continents mostly in Europe and North America. When we waste, we don’t think about the people who are starving around the world and searching for food. However, some of our food is being turned into compost to help crops grow to make more food but instead many people waste it. Therefore, some leftovers or fresh food we could send to the food bank or the homeless shelter, who really need it. ‘Job 34:20’ “The lord hears the cry of the poor” this means that the poor is crying over hunger and God hears them. We must help!

Pollution Pollution is killing nature and without nature the beautiful places created for us to visit could be destroyed. Furthermore, nature is an animal’s habitat. If it doesn’t have a habitat then they wouldn’t be able to hide or camouflage, then hunters would come out and kill as many animals they find. We can change this by, less of the same factories and make smoking illegal for the safety of nature and people around us as they could get seriously ill (or get cancer) from the smoke of the cigarettes.

Conclusion The person that inspires us is Jesus because he forgave everyone even his enemies. He loved and cared for everyone and he sacrificed his life for us so we could live a peaceful life in memory of him. If our ideas are successful, then the world would be a fair place for people to live and have a happy and joyful live that everyone wants and accepts by 2016.
