19 www.dcnr.state.pa.us BRC Accomplishments Grants have been awarded every County and to about 50% of PA municipalities Completed 800+ trail projects Helped conserve nearly 150,000 acres of open space and critical wildlife habitat 43% of recreation occurs at local/county parks

20 www.dcnr.state.pa.us C2P2 Accomplishments and Economic Impacts Economic Impact: Substantial! –Great Allegheny Passage: $40 million in annual direct spending & $7.5 million in wages –Philadelphia (Greenspace Alliance Study): $40.3 million in economic out-of-towner expenditures $688 million in increased value for properties surrounding parks
