Jack lives with his mother. They are poor. One day Jacks mother calls him. She tells him to sell their cow
On his way to the market, Jack meets a man. Give me your cow, he says. In return, I will give you five magic beans.
Jack takes the beans home. Jacks mother is very angry. She throws the beans out of the window.
The next morning, Jack gets up early. He sees a large beanstalk. It grows right up to the clouds.
Jack climbs up the beanstalk. He sees a big castle. It is the home of a wicked giant.
