3 Partner Search Forum in Tromsö, 7-8 June 200..focusing on: enhance integration with the northern part of the BSR and to foster new initiatives, North-South and East- West.. explore the requirements for combining the EU financing instruments (Interreg/Phare/Tacis) in plenary sessions and in the workshops invite project presentations and partner search by using the "Project Idea and Partner Search Forms". discuss how to deal with the horisontal strategic objective of sustainability (an expert from Univ. of Lund is invited to give a speech).

11 BSR INTERREG III B CIP: PRIORITIES AND MEASURES Priority 1:Promotion of spatial development approaches and actions for specific territories and sectors Measure 1: Supporting preparation and implementation of strategies for macro-regions Measure 2: Promoting sustainable development of specific sectors Measure 3: Strengthening sustainable development of coastal zones, islands and other specific areas Priority 2:Promotion of territorial structures supporting sustainable BSR development Measure 1: Promoting the development of balanced polycentric settlement structures Measure 2: Creating sustainable communication links for improved spatial integration Measure 3: Enhancing good management of cultural and natural heritage and of natural resources Priority 3:Promotion of institution building, strengthening transnational spatial development Priority 4: Technical Assistance to support transnational co-operation

14 For partners it is of interest to be acquainted with other project ideas and countries/regions/people involved in generating new projects. For programme stakeholders and the JS the PSF workshops provides an opportunity to get a comprehensive picture on which projects are in the pipeline(see the PIF-Catalogue). For all participants the workshops will be useful for providing actual information on eligibility and project selection criteria and discuss how to proceed with joint projects towards applications for INTERREG IIIB, PHARE and TACIS.
