The Grants Story… Enjoyed success with quite a number of grants to date but can do better Efforts ongoing at Chapter level, unknown till Grant has been won and publicized Several potential Grants for Education specific projects passing by due to Volunteer band- width/leadership issues Follow up with Grant partner for repeat funding is insignificant currently

Foundation vs. giving programs? Company-sponsored foundations report to the IRS annually by means of Form 990-PF.Form 990-PF Corporate giving programs, need no disclosure. Corporate giving programs are often managed by a company's community or public relations departments.

The Good News… Asha wide Grants team being set up to : a. Consolidate Grant writing efforts b. Build expertise that could be leveraged Individual chapters can pursue independently too High budget and/or Long term projects to be prioritized for Grant endorsements Valuable experience available at Chapter level and Asha wide level to make a huge difference

How you can Help Work with us to rope in Partner Organizations including Corporates and Media Give us authorization to use General Admin Funds towards Publicity year round (WAH, Notes of Hope, Team Asha etc.) Everyone of us is a PR rep so let us use that skill better (Blog about Asha, Have a cool email signature, talk about it with Friends)
