3 ACADEMIC PROGRAM Quarter system – Interim reports every 9 weeks. Report cards every 18 weeks. Cumulative grade on the end of year report card. Standards-based grading -Formative/Summative -SLO’s Rotating schedule– A/B/C/D weeks- Students will have the same class every day, but at a different time each week. Connie McCrary

4 Two Connections classes
A Typical Day Each student takes 7 classes a day (52 minutes each)‏ Language Arts Math Science Social Studies Literacy/Enrichment Two Connections classes

5 Class Change Most classes are on same hallway (makes it easy to find classes).‏ Locker breaks usually between every other class period. Teachers have combinations to locks. Teachers available to provide extra help!

6 Connections and PE Students rotate randomly through the following connections: Art Technology Music P.E. Computer Literacy Health Band and Chorus are optional year-long classes For students taking P.E. Uniforms required ($20-$25); Locks for PE lockers required ($3)‏ Connie McCrary

You have to be in 7th or 8th grade to play sports for Little Mill Middle School. Football Basketball Cheerleading Track Golf We do offer intramurals to 6th grade students. Connie McCrary

Chattahoochee Elementary 5th graders tour May 6th Chestatee Elementary 5th graders tour May 7th Mustang Camp: Saturday, August 1st 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. *No pre-registration necessary Open House: Monday, August 3rd 4:00-6:30 *Parents and students who attend Mustang Camp do not need to attend Open House.
