2. The first inhabitants The first inhabitants of North America was people who crossed over The Bering´s channel from The Asia to The Alaska. It was 10 000 till 30 000 years ago. In eleven century the first European Viking Leif Eriksson came to Newfoundland.

3. Discovery of America North America was discover on October 12 th in 1492 by Christopher Columbus. He thought that he came to board of The India so he called the local inhabitants as a ´Indios´. But today we used a term ´native people´.

5. And they cultiveted: corn potatoes tobacco cacao tree  In seventeen century there were about 1.5 millions native american people and they spoke in excess of 1 500 languages. Native people

6. Cristopher Columbus He was born between August 25 th and October 31 th in 1451. He died on May 20 th 1506 in Spain. He was explorer, colonizator and navigator.

7. First voyage The first voyage was from 1492 to 1493. The ships were called: Santa Maria, Pinta and Nina. They arrived to the San Salvador (today it is the Bahamas) and to the Cuba (but they thought it was a Russia).

8. Second voyage Second voyage was from 1493 to 1496. They arrived to the Guadeloupe and the Portorico. In 1494 they discover the Jamaica.

9. Third and fourth voyage The third voyage was from 1498 to 1500. They arrived to the Trinidad and to the Venezuela. After the revolt on a ship they returned back to the Spain. The fourth voyage was in 1502. They arrived to the Martinic, to the Honduras, to the Nicaragua and to the Panama.

10. Establishment of Virginia In 1607 originated ´The Virginia society´ and in Jamestown was established the first colony. In 1612 inhabitants started to cultivate the tobacco which contributed to great prosperity.

11. Conquistadors People who came from the Spain and destroyed old advanced civilization and killed their kings. Fernando Cortez: He attacked The Aztec Empire. Francisco Pizaro: He attacted and destroyed The Inca Empire.

13. First half of 16 th century In the first half of 16 th century Spanish began annexed the part of land around the River Mississipi. In 1620 came the ship ´Mayflower´and at this time started a gradual settlement of North America
