3 Workstation The space that is given to a man to achieve a task is called “workstation” Privacy of the workstation is determined by the height of the workstation walls. Workstations can be laid out in single floor for up to 200 work station. Every office floor of workstations must have a designated area for trainees.

4 Workstation requirements
Working table (desk) Writing area Garbage disposal tin Office chair Electrical outlet Movement area

5 Ventilation For every 10 floors there must be a floor dedicated to mechanical systems. Office spaces ventilation system must provide at least 5 – 10 air changes per working day. Air circulation must include filtering equipment. Preferred air temperature for offices is around 16°

7 Lighting Offices with daylight must have 300 lx (lux)
Large offices without daylight 700 lx (lux)

8 To eliminate glair effect on reflective surfaces, lighting fixtures must have a shading angles of ≥ 30°

9 Utilities Parking lots for employees. Cloak rooms at every floor
Lounge and dining area Meeting rooms Spring water fountain Copier \ shredder corner Maintenance and genitor room.

10 Layouts Height of workstations offices is regulated as:
Area < 50 m2 = 2.5 m Over 50 m2 = 2.75m Over 100 m2 = 3.00 m Over 250 m2 = 3.25m
