10 “How can I find books?” Log on to Sterling, the online catalog (http://138.238.41.252), for books acquired after 1975. Most of the books for undergraduate programs are in The Founders Library. They have Library of Congress call numbers. Older books are housed in the Undergraduate Library. Most have Dewey Decimal call numbers. Check the card catalog in The Founders Library for books acquired before 1975. Seek assistance at the Reference Desk in Founders Library.

13 The Circulation Desk is the place to check out and return books. Inquire at this desk if you cannot find a book on the shelf.

14 Present your validated HU ID card at a loan services desk. Many high-use titles, such as language dictionaries, are kept behind the Reference Desk in the Ready Reference Collection. Reference books are shelved by call number. Each call number is prefixed by the code "Ref."

17 “How can I find magazine articles?” Go to the library home page and click on Citations, Abstracts, Full Text Articles to search the online indexes.
