3. What’s the history of astrolabes? The history of astrolabes began two thousand years ago. The astrolabe was known before 150 B.C., and true astrolabes were made before A.D. 400. The astrolabe was invented in Islamic world by 800 and presented to Europe from Islamic, Spain in the 12 th century.

4. What’s the astrolabe known for? It was pretty much replaced by other astronomical instruments, And astrolabes are still well known for its capabilites and unique, awesome value. But you can still use the astrolabe till this day, its just they are hard to find.

5. How can we use astrolabes? Well, you can find your time of day and that’s exactly what astrolabes are for. They are for finding the time of day or finding your directions from stars and it was used as a celestial map and for islamic prayer time.

6. Who used the astrolabes in the century’s? some people like Ptolemy, Galileo,Columbus,astronomers, and astrologers used it for the same reason to find the time of day and using it for a celestial map.

7. The celestial map  Some celestial maps are on a astrolabe. It is a earth projection but it is on a flat sheet of paper. It’s on a plate in side the astrolabe.

8. Electric astrolabe There is an electric astrolabe that you can find the motion of the sun and planets.It can be set any date and time. The electric astrolabe is used for modern day technology to tell time. Also, Neil Armstrong used an electric astrolabe when he set foot on the moon.

9. It’s value to the world Scholars around the world are impressed by it’s abilities. They are displayed in museums around the world for people to see remarkable talents that let us see the universe in a unique way.

10. From past to future 2,000 years ago the astrolabe began and now it is in history and popular to astronomers and sailors. We will always remember the discovery’s it gave us and and the discovery it will give us.
