5 Chapter in an Edited Book An edited book contains the work of many authors. The main elements of an edited book reference are: Author(s) of chapter Year 'Title of chapter' Editor (ed.) Title of Book Publisher Place of publication page numbers Note: the title of the book is in italics

7 Find edited books  UTS Catalogue Search for edited books by –Search for edited books by –  Title (of book not chapter) or or  Author (use the editor’s details as author)

8 Finding Journal Articles To find an article, first identify the source: the name of the journal or magazine or newspaper that the article comes from.

9 Journals can be published weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually References to journals contain information about the year, issue, volume  Author(s) Year, 'Article Title', Journal Name, vol. Volume, no. Issue, pp. Pages. Note: the journal title is in italics
