2 Informal/casual participation Informal/casual participation represents 75% of participation and is growing The interventions/products can then be targeted according to local need (families, park footfall – as part of a larger programme running locally) We are seeking partners to work with us to increase participation in our new ‘informal’ products For our new programme to succeed we need support in delivering our products (up skilling staff & partners to run activities without the need for an outside coach)

4 Community O+ Products RunChallenge (Singles/couples 16-30yrs) Week day evening A 45 minute score event, where each participant (or group of participants) is given a map marked with control points. Participants use the map to navigate to as many control points as possible in the allocated time. The map will be designed to provide the appropriate level of challenge to meet the needs of the target participants. It is a mass start event with questions to answer at each control point. Student Starter aligned to RunChallenge with focussed promotion & marketing to students ‘Was good fun’ ‘It was hilarious!’ ‘Fun and outdoors’ ‘We had loads of fun’ Pilots focused on concept – no ‘dressing’ of the events, 83% from pilots would do it again

6 Community O+ Products Xplorer (Families with young children under 14) Weekend A 30-45 minute score event, where each participant (or family) is given a map marked with control points. Participants are required to identify different Colours and Animals to show they have visited each control point.

8 Route to market via: Flyers in local area Flyers in primary schools via Local Authority Facebook and Twitter Local paper. Participants were attracted to attend primarily through the flyers in primary school and via the local paper. Pilot: 104 participants, 42 family groups ‘Great family fun’ ‘My child loves outdoor adventures’ ‘Fun for children’ ‘Fun and educational’
