3 New UDLR box & ULE Current situation –AI3/SOI Asia UDL uses a modified MPE format, not efficient bandwidth utilization –Difficulty on operating UDcast Box –More R&D cannot be implimented UDbox -> New UDLR box development – Might improve current problems of operation and maintenance, logistic difficulty and downtime – More possibilities of R&D –Cheaper? –More flexible logistics, install and troubleshoot –Development status Benchmark performance test is OK but need stability and durable test Documentations, CLI/GUI user interface

5 Resource allocation Satellite bandwidth is limited and more Tx partners Proposal to reorganize Tx partners into 2 categories –Research category for temporary period –Lifeline category (24/7) Issues –Policy and procedure must be defined and executed efficiently –If there is no TX regularly, can still maintain license? Need to check – per country –Need to discuss more in director meeting and with each partner team
