Additionally, they will be able to identify different types of fossils, understand how they are formed, and where they are likely to be found. Once fossils have been mentioned, introduce the web lesson: “Getting Into The Fossil Record.” Explain to students that they will be using a web module to learn more about what they have just been discussing. 3.
