Before Internet (B.I.), traditional device use RS232 output port to communicate with PC
To be used within LinkServer environment For Device with Analog output –Require 3 converters: AI->RS485->RS232->TCP/IP For Device with RS485 output –Require 2 converters RS485->RS232->TCP/IP For Device with RS232 output –Require only 1 converter RS232->TCP/IP ADAM-4520 RS-422/485 to RS-232 ADAM-4017+: AI to RS485 TIBBO/DS 202 RS232->TCP/IP

Conclusions Sensors and Devices can be integrated through FS and LS and accessed through Internet with only 1 fixed IP. FS and LS can be integrated to establish SA or MA (Multi-Agent) Supervisory or Distributed Control and Data/Image Acquisition System.
