7 6 060414.01 Inductive Linear Non-contact Position Sensor –Originally developed to monitor precise movements of Orbiter windows inspection system –High accuracy and resolution of positions for motion control applications –Small, inexpensive and provides absolute position –Can measure position down to 400 nanometers over a total range of 200 microns

8 7 060414.01 KSC Commercialization Efforts –Assessment for commercial potential positive –Positive feedback from industry experts (sensor manufacturers) –Filed non-provisional patent and marketed technology to industry –Pursued license with a sensor manufacturer identified in KSC’s commercial assessment over the course of one year –Due to changes in budget company dropped interest –Considered a good candidate for the Rollins program.

10 9 060414.01 –Company name derived from Spanish word that means “juncture” –Incorporated in 2012 with headquarters in Winter Park, FL –Currently developing three variations of non-contact position sensors for its product line –Company already has made a commercial sale of its product Florida Institute of Technology is incorporating the sensor into a 3D bioplotter that prints human tissue
