7. And that wood floor that you walked over on your way out the door? 5.4 gallons of water are used to grow enough wood for one lumber board.

8. And the paint that covers those walls? It took 13 gallons of water to make just 1 gallon of paint..

9. How about that hamburger you ate last night for dinner? Roughly 634 gallons of water go into the production of one hamburger

10. Lets not forget about the car you drove to pick up that hamburger.. It takes an estimated 39,000 gallons of water to make a car. And 2000 gallons more to make its tires.

11. And how about that school you go to? Did you know that.. 443 million school days are lost each year due to water-related diseases

12. And that daily bathroom break you take during school.. If everyone in the US flushed the toilet just one less time per day, we could save a lake full of water about one mile long, one mile wide and four feet deep

13. How about when you visit the big apple on the weekend? Did you know that.. The New York City water supply system leaks 36 million gallons per day.[[

14. And what happens when you go out to dinner and eat some bad food? I hope you don’t need a hospital bed because… Half of the world's hospital beds are filled with people suffering from a water-related disease
