4 Under Weight Children India is short of finance to support its own needs for health services. The percentage of children under five years of age - suffering from underweight is up to 46%. In comparison with some other Asian countries India is worse. In Myanmar, it is 32% and in Sri Lanka it is only 29 %. China has only 7% of such cases even though it has the largest population. 5 Stunted Children India is not only having problem of underweight, it also has around 38 % of stunted children under the age of five years, but in places like Kenya it is 30 % and in Sri Lanka it is 14 %. In China, it is only 11%. So I think India should be given more money so that it can improve its medical facilities to improve the health of children. 6 Malaria among Teenagers Malaria is one of the most common diseases in India and can spread very fast. 67% of India is facing problems with malaria. 57% of Srilanka is facing this problem and only 24% of Bangladesh face the same problem. Myanmar has only 15%. 7 Shortage of Water & Food UN should provide financial aid to India to improve the basic requirement of Water and food, to decrease the suffering of its children from underweight, stunt and malaria. If India has money, they will be able to build big water plants and dams. These water plants convert sea water into fresh water. So that all the poor people can have fresh water to drink. If India is given a lot of money it can build many wells to get fresh underground water also. 8 Poor country to Rich country We can also construct a lot of hand pumps in the villages. These hand pumps are good use to provide water for drinking and bathing. Water can also help to increase the growth of crops which will provide food. Money can help to buy good seeds and fertilizers to improve the agriculture.
