56 Oxidation - Reduction A reaction in which electrons are transferred from one reactant to another is a oxidation-reduction reaction Oxidation and reduction always occur together It can involve full transfers, or partially charged elements.

74 Endothermic Reactions A chemical reaction that absorbs energy from its surroundings is an endothermic reaction In an endothermic reaction, more energy is required to break the bonds in the reactants than is released by the formation of the products.
