2. Searching Enter your search term Decide if you want to search by Subject, Title, Author, or Everything

3. Looking for RC Books at your level Click Reading Programs Tab Select Reading Level If you don’t find what you want at our school, change the library to High School Libraries or ALL

4. POWER SEARCHING For a more specific search, you can click the Power Search tab and enter as many fields as you wish.

5. VISUAL SEARCH (1) Click the tab visual search to search by subject tree.

6. VISUAL SEARCH (2) Click on the picture of the subject Animals results in this screen showing many different types of animals.

7. VISUAL SEARCH (3) When you click on dogs you will see a list of the books we have on that subject.

8. FAVORITES (1) Choosing the tab Favorites will show you what is most popular with students in our school.

9. FAVORITES (2) If you click on the hottest subject “Mystery and Detective Stories, you will see the books available in that genre.

10. FAVORITES (3) Click on any item in favorites and you will see a list of books held by all libraries.

11. INTER-LIBRARY LOAN Print the page showing the book you want and the school where it is available. Add your name, grade, and teacher to the page with ILL Request. Give the page to the Media Specialist or Media Clerk. We will get the book from the school and check it out to you. Return the book in 2 weeks to our Media Center. We will return it to the school it was borrowed from.

13. READING PROGRAMS Click Reading Programs tab Set Program to RC, Level Any Enter sports as a search term Click Show Matching Books How many titles?

14. Lexile Lexile is a measurement that matches the reader with the level of the book. To see which books we have for a particular lexile, change the school to Forest Hill High School. Then enter the word lexile and the lexile number. How many do we have for the Lexile 570?
